Research Overview

  • As Director of CPMC’s Ray Dolby Brain Health Center, Dr. Madison treats people with age-related memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease, and dementia.  She is board certified in neurology.
  • The Brain Health Center provides the latest in diagnosis, treatment, research, technology, and psychosocial support for patients and their caregivers.
  • Dr. Madison investigates new diagnostic techniques and treatment approaches for memory disorders, and leads initiatives to provide patients with unique care navigation services to manage their illness.
  • In addition to her clinical work in memory disorders, Dr. Madison is a co-investigator of trials assessing new therapies for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).


Dr. Madison received her M.D. from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. She completed residency training in neurology at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
